Kindred Chicago Central Hospital

My brother came here for care. I was very happy with his care with the condition he came in he did a whole 360 every one took their time no one rushed to do their job. I wanted him to stay a while longer thats how good of a job y’all did for him. Because of how good my brother was taken care of I recommend this hospital with the marvelous job y’all did y’all brought him back to life. Always called me to update me every Wednesday morning the whole team would call me and update me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! more

The food was good people treated me nice the nurses the staff everything was good. The new patient beds were very nice I’m going to miss it and the tv to. I love my ambassador Denise she was nice to me I’m going to miss her. Alma patient relations she was very nice to me always came to see me with a smile on her face never grumpy or mean. She treated me right. I am going to miss this place. more

All nurses, CNA’s, physical therapists where very good I was not getting out of bed or walking by myself until I came to Central. I had 2 falls in other hospitals that shows how much attention they show. They never let me be alone or do anything alone! Thank you Darryl Griggs more

Kindred central was by far the best out of 4 facilities he has been in. I appreciate the teams hard work for Henry, your staff turkey cares about their patients. Everyone is compassionate and puts a lot of effort and energy in what they do. The team approached his care and weekely meetings were invaluable and every person engaged him which was so important when you are in care as long as he has been. He greatly valued everyone’s sense of humor and kindness. We can’t say enough good things about kindred central and would be more than happy to provide a reference any time. more

You guys did a great job considering the pain in the butt I was. Lainey from therapy in occupational therapy it was the little things she did giving me toys for my hands coming in sitting me at the edged of the bed to do grooming. So many names so many faces but I’m thankful for all. more

I think you guys where very professional you have a lot of consideration for a person well being the facility is always kept very clean. I will like to thank the staff for all they have done for me. I came in at 140 pounds now leaving 180 that let’s you know how good they take care of their patients. Bill more

The care and attention they give you here they go all the way out for your needs, when I was in HAU they took real good care of me I can put it in words. When first got here I didn’t know where I was, I was hallucinating I was trying to take all tubes out and fighting staff once I woke up out of it I felt like someone else I didn’t know I was like this. I started talking to everyone all the staff was saying I was talking now. Then I went to physical therapy and Marisol, Edwin, Lainey, Jessie Melissa was helping me they really took the time to deal with your desfuntion. I was making a joke that I was the Incredible Hulk. Now I am a beast a calm one because I’m strong the people around me have helped me so much! Now I can walk I get up ready for therapy I jump out of bed now! Before I had to scoot myself at the edge of bed I’m more energetic. Therapy gives me the excitement and motivation to get up.i can eat again before it would take me half a hour to eat now I can eat in 15 minutes. I can talk so much better since the tube came out of my throat Dr. Njar helped me thank god I don’t need oxygen anymore. Now I am thankful joking around seeing everyone in different ways telling them they are beautiful life looks so much better! Kindred central is recommended I think is the best hospital I have ever been in. more

This was a very nice hospital I got treat fairly when I first came here to couldn’t talk and had a trach my stomach wound was very big and now is healing I feel way better now that I could eat talk and at least sit the food hear is very good too! more

This hospital is very clean they feed you better therapy is good they helped me exercise. The doctors and nurses and patient relations was very good because they came here to talk to me about the things I need to hear. They helped me with the things I needed. Jonathan Stamps more
