We were there for 2 days.
First day...no breakfast (though that was part of the program), no access code to get in, doorbell doesn't work (so we waited outside until someone walked by and saw us), no one expected us. Director of center not there all day.
Our child came home saying nothing but "hungry, hungry" over and over.
Second day...our daughter came back with a heavily scratched face and vomited all afternoon followed by diarrhea for 2 days (she hadn't been sick in over 1.5 years at previous smaller family daycare). Turns out the workers took someone else's open container of wet wipes, crossed their name out on it, and put our daughter's name on it and they were using those(we had left a full supply of diapers, ointment, and wet wipes, none of which were even opened after 2 days).
We made a visit halfway through the 2nd day and director (Jenn Maccini) still not there (or for the rest of the day). The chef came out to hand us paperwork that should have been given the first day - we asked how often Jenn is there - he said "she is here when she is here -- she has her own daycare problems so needs to take care of those".
Our daughter's regular teacher was out for the 2nd day in a row so the assistant director needed to cover.
The meal menu given to us didn't match anything that the kids were fed, and the program schedule didn't match anything they did - a total scam.
After mentioning this to a few people, it's clear that these observations about this center are shared by others -- the Director is never there, the workers call in sick a lot, the programs advertised and described are nothing like what really happens, Annie holds things together but was not surprised when we pulled our daughter on the 2nd day.
We also called the district manager and still have not gotten a return phone call after 2 days.
This is a pathetic center and company - should be closed. The director should be fired and blackballed from the industry for providing that type of care. Boy were we fooled.
