We had to witdraw our bilingual child from KinderCare because the kindergarten program is not accredited by the State and the teacher did not prepare our bilingual child for the first grade readiness test. The teacher did not give our daughter's feedback about her progress, her activities. She did not reply to our emails or our phone calls. We complained when the teacher gave us a poor report card, written in pencil, and there was not the teacher's signature and our daughter's attendance and appreciation! What it uspet our husband the teacher only gave us a weeky newsletter but she did not communicate individually with parents. In her newsletter, there is no method to teach sight words, vocabulary and prepare the test. The teacher did not see me to talk about my daughter's tests, activities etc. It was a frustrating and stressful experience. we had lost a lot of money( about 1400 per month) on this non accredited program. If your child struggles, the teacher does not contact you. YOu have to figure out, besides the director was not sincere. She told us her program was credited and prepared children for the first grade readiness test in public schools, which is not true. Our daughter failed the test because of lack of communication, lack of diversity and code of ethics.
