Rude, awful communication 6/25/2013

This company is an utter disappointment. They put their ridiculous policies before their clients and in return have no responsibility to those clients in areas of important communication, like the loss of their swim instructor. Their main front office point of contact is rude and should probably consider a job where interaction with other people is not necessary. They have lost me as a client forever and I will do whatever I can to take as many people with me. I will be sure to never recommend them and will steer any potential clients as far away from them as possible. They have definitely messed with the wrong lady on this one. Sorry, Kinder Swimmer but in the long run, when you put policy before people, your business will suffer for it. more

Too expensive and too many kids 4/30/2012

I started out in a 10am class session but after 5 kids where in the class and my son was getting very little instruction on actual swimming lessons with 5:1 (student:teacher) ratio we switched to a 9:30 class. This class was AWESOME and some days my son was the only student. In two one on one sessions my son made more progress than the previous 2 months of classes. I was really turned off when the staff called me to switch my class to be with more students. I explained my son did really well one on one and would like to stay in the class. She tried to convince me that being with more kids was better but really they wanted to move my kid so they would not have to pay instructor for the class with one child. Then...my final decision was made and I cancelled classes when I went to class today, 5 students were there and the teacher proved my original thought that the class cannot be properly taught with 5:1 ratio. 5:1 ratio for 30 minute class = 6 minutes of instruction for $18 3:1 ration for 30 minutes class = 10 minutes of instruction for ($18) Clearly about making the most money per class vs. limiting the kids per class to insure proper skills are being taught and learned. However, loved our teacher and at times felt bad for the amount of kids she had to juggle. Would not recommend to anyone, waste of time and money. more

expensive, but fun 7/31/2005

My son is enjoying Kinder Swimmer. Beware, it is not cheap ($15 per each half hour lesson). What is good about it is there is a class of five students or fewer and the kids get in the water right away, trying front and back strokes, attempting diving (even the little ones), sliding down a slide into the water. They really get the "full immersion" of swimming in a safe way (students wear floats as they learn to swim). The indoor, heated pool is located at a private residence and parking can by tricky. more
