Kinder Kottage Childcare is a 3-star state certified child care facility that offers great childcare at an affordable price. I needed childcare services for my 18-month-old son for 6 weeks, and took him to Kinder Kottage. The teachers are all very friendly, and my son warmed up to everyone immediately. He easily adapted to the childcare center's schedule. They offer plenty of indoor & outdoor play time and socialization for each child regardless of age. They provide a healthy breakfast, lunch & snack. If you do pick up your child late (after close), they penalize you by charging more, but are willing to negotiate for first-time offenders. The outside play-yard has plenty of safe and fun equipment for children of all ages. Although not the absolute cheapest 3-star childcare center, the price was very reasonable in comparison with other centers, especially for the services they provided.
I do have some complaints about the facility, though. They are not very good at communicating information to parents. They have a message board, but I didn't even know that's what it was until 6 weeks after my son was there. I was disappointed on several occasions when I dropped my son off and he wasn't immediately greated. In fact, there was a couple times when the teacher (it was always the same teacher) in his group didn't want him in with her and asked another teacher to let my son go into her class instead. This particular teacher had several children of all ages in her class since it was early in the morning and probably felt overwhelmed, but I still feel it was inappropriate.
Finally, one last concern. The owner assured me I would always receive a receipt each time I made a payment for childcare services. My son was there for 6 weeks, and I only received one receipt.
