Even with the Price of Gasoline I drive from Tamarac to North Miami Beach for this Veterinarian 12/18/2008

I have a Chocolate Lab and she had ""smelly"" feet. We love Hershey and she sleeps with our daughter. I was given a lot of advice from several different vets, but only Amgad Basta, D.V.M. could help us. Hershey was given special wipes and cleansing lotion for her paws, and she has resumed sleeping with our daughter, less the ""smelly"". Thanks Dr. Basta. Hershey thanks you too. Finally a Vet that knows his business 12/18/2008

A Veterinarian with Knowledge and a HEART 12/18/2008

My cat Shadow and my dog Precious have been patients of Dr. Amgad Basta for over 3 years at Florida Pets and Vets. The Vet (Dr. Amgad Basta) has always ben honest, compassionate and very patient with me and my pets, which I consider as my family. Problems have always been solved, with no stones left unturned. He always gives you a full explaination before doing anything, and I find his prices to be the best in the Miami area, giving you the most for your money. I would reccommend Florida Pets and Vets to everyone that loves their animal. This is not just a job for Dr. Amgad Basta, it is his passion. Pros: great staff,good parking GREAT VET more

The Best Veterinarian. Knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. 11/26/2008

When I was on vacation in Mexico my Red nose Miniature Pinscher was attacked by a Rottweiler and my pet sitter brought him to Pets and Vets. My little baby was severely injured and needed emergency surgery and I was miles away. Dr. Basta Jr was swift to act and saved his life. Dr. Basta Jr constantly kept me informed of my dog?s medical condition until I could return to Miami. His knowledge, compassion, professionalism and true understanding of the human animal bond made me feel at ease during that very difficult time. The atmosphere at the clinic is very welcoming. His staff is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate and Dr. Basta Jr always takes the time to explain things.
