I was petrified with fear every time I had to go to the dentist. I would start crying just by sitting on the dentist's chair. My dental experiences had been terrible and the pain was intolerable! So, I stopped going to the dentist... until a friend recommended me to Dr. Raymond Kimsey. I remember the first time I met him when I visited his offices more than 14 years ago, Dr. Kimsey was very attentive and gentle. He treated me with respect and at no time did he belittled me or my feelings of phobia. This was the first step on the right direction, a sensitive, empathetic dentist!! A rare find! I felt comfortable enough to agree to make an appointment to have a deep cleaning. Dr. Kimsey administered IV sedation at this time, he explained every step with kindness and patience, it was clear to me that my dental work was the most important task in Dr. Kimsey's agenda. I have been going to see Dr. Kimsey for the past 14 years for all my dental needs; regular cleanings, cavities, root canals and crowns. He has administered "laughing gas" (nitrous oxide) and IV sedation on several occasions. When he is working with me, he always tells me in advance what he will be doing, if he is going to tap on a tooth, if he is going to inject my gums, anything! He tells me! I always know what to expect, there are no surprises, no unexpected pain, I CAN TRUST HIM. I am happy to say that just recently I went to see Dr. Kimsey for a root canal, I feel so comfortable and so safe with him and his staff that I just needed regular injections of anesthesia on my gums, no more laughing gas, no more IV's! Excellent dentist. You want a dentist that keeps up to date on all the latest procedures, is active in his profession and has the latest technology. He is the total dental package! My family has been going to him for over 20 years and we are always extremely please with his work, never a complaint. He specializes in pain management and people that are afraid of dentists. I have been going to Dr. Kimsey since the first grade. There are many reasons I gave him a five star rating: He's really relaxed and has a great staff who have been there forever and all know me by name. The office is small, but clean and in a great location. I love sitting in the rooms in the back that overlook the patio. He's easy to talk to and does EXCELLENT work. If you have a fear of going to the dentist, I would highly suggest him. more

He can help anyone feel calm, despite the fact that dental procedures can scare a lot of adults. His office staff is also great. Best part of all, appointments aren't few and far between. more
