Kim's Vcr & Tv Elctro Repair

I brought my TV to Best Buy and another shop in St. Charles. They all turned back with more than $245 for estimate. My friend refered me to Kim. It took them 4 days to repair, and only cost me $95. Really happy for the service. more

my 4 year old 32"" magnavox broke down about 18 months ago. i had kim's repair it for a hefty price, since this tv fits our entertainment center well. the first repair lasted only 1 year or so. i decided it was just a faulty part and had it repaired there again, at the same price. that repair only lasted about 90 days and now the same problem has happened for the 3rd time. i have invested almost $400 in repairs on a $350 tv. no more. i don't know if they're using cheap repair parts or not, but they don't last. you would think they would back their service for more than 30 days, especially for a repeat customer with identical problems, but they don't. \r the people there are nice, but repairs should last more than a few months. Pros: good location, friendly staff helpful loading and unloading. Cons: repairs didn't last, charged same price for identical symptoms. more

I have had repairs done at Kim's 4 times over the last 5 years. Each experience was just great, communication is good, pricing is fair and the repairs have never failed for me. All of the items repaired are still working. I can tell you no reason not to patronize this long standing locally owned and operated business.
