I can tell you the two posts with one star are bogus. Kim is the best in town. Why else would the military use her instead of the alterations shop on post. She always has a great attitude and loves dealing with people. You can't go wrong here. Kim's has a Better Business Bureau rating of A+. Enough said! more

Yeah, I agree. The other two posters are either rating the wrong shop or were fired for lying on their time sheet. Unfortunately the world is full of dishonest people and this happens when someone is nice and trusts you. Kim is that type of person. Notice one of the posters page is gone and the other only posted one review. Obviously only out to start trouble. Poor soul. This is by far one of the best businesses of any kind in the Columbia area. Our family has been going here for about 15 years and have never had a problem. One of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. Thanks Kim! more

I've used this business twice for alterations, and so far no problem. I had two pairs of pants hemmed months ago and a dress taken up in the straps a few days ago. I don't remember the price for the pants but the dress cost $10.00. The staff has been friendly. more

We've been all over the world with the military and none have done as good a job as Kim. She's so sweet and eager to please. We love you Kim and we'll always recommend your to our family and friends. You rock! more

They can be very rude and if you ask them to redo the work, they will always blame you to be too picky. The work they do is not good anyway. Don't go there, unless you want to get your clothes ruined. more

I've been going here since she opened this shop 10 years ago and know the owner personally. The poster below is a total liar. It would be impossible for her to be rude, it's just not in her nature. Citysearch should track down the IP of this poser for charges of slander. Wouldn't surprise me if it was an ex employee that got fired for lying on her time sheet. This place is the WORST dry cleaner and completely ruined items I took in for alterations. I have never been so angry at a company. There were burn marks and tears on several items. When I first questioned the person there, they were very rude to me. When I got home and tried on the items I had altered, they had completely ruined them as well. I returned to the shop and demanded to speak to a manager and the person who came out and claimed to be a manager was a total hoodlum who had no idea how to run a business. In the end, I would recommend to everyone that you stay away from this business. It is run by a total jerk apparently, and you can pretty much guarantee they will ruin at least a few of your items. This is the only Alterations shop I've found in Columbia that does pretty much everything from leather repair to cleaners. They also do tayloring, wedding gowns, military. Etc. Thanks Kim's for all these years of great service. Highly recommened. Pros: Fast, great prices, friendly, great service and just all around nice people. more
