My fiance and I were planning to go to Universal Orlando and checked our coupon book for a restaurant nearby. We saw a coupon for Kim Wu Buffet and saw that the reviews online were good, so we decided to go.\r

Upon arrival, we were seated and awaited assistance. The manager saw that the waitress was busy and cam over to get our drink order. He asked us if we wanted the buffet and pointed to it, and we said yes. We did not know there was another option, and did not have a chance to present our coupon, as the manager hurried away.\r

The buffet selection was poor....we even looked in the adjoining dining area to see if the rest was in the other room, but no....I was so surprised that there were only several options at the buffet that I asked for a menu. I regretted the buffet at that point. \r

As my fiance got his coupon out, the waitress came by with the bill and told us ""that not good for buffet!"" The bill was also higher than it should've been, and we were informed that there was a sign in front that said the buffet was $1 more than the menu price. Why not fix the menu?\r

When she walked away I asked the hostess if I could speak with the manager, and explained that we were not given a menu to begin with, and had we known we could use our coupon on an entree, we would have. She made the correction on our bill. I sat down and when the waitress passed and saw our bill, she huffed and hurried to the back, then hurried to the front to the hostess. Then she came back to our table and said ""that not for buffet"". When I explained we had never been there before so we didn't know, she said ""you been here before!"" Wow. She argued with us for several minutes and walked away. I advised the hostess I'd never been treated that way by wait staff. My fiance wrote a note under the tip section of our bill, ""be polite"".
