Kidz Country Learning Day Ctr

The best day care center in Westchester County, wouldn't send my kids anywhere else! It's located right on Rt. 6 which is perfect for me on my commute to the city. The hours are so flexible and I never have to worry about what to do with my kids on snow days or school closings. Mary Ann at the front desk is so accommodating and helpful. Laurie, the Director is so great, and my kids absolutely adore her. It really has a family feel to it, and is different than any other day care I've ever been to. more

Very bad place. Very bad people. Also liars! They don't return deposits that you paid for your child for advanced reservation. Lori, the owner will laugh behind your back, she is not nice lady. They cut the time your child should spend there. My wife and I are very disappointed with their services. So it is a fact they wrote those 2 reviews below themselves. Stay away... Many more day cares arround are available with a lot better rating. more

I was impressed with Kidz Country from the first phone call. They staff was pleasant and very helpful. When I arrived - I was greeted by everyone - including the parents that attended. I was very surprised that everyone was so ""connected"" and happy. I spoke to a parent in the parking lot and they gave me wonderful recommendation - based on her other experiences in the area. I found the place to be very child friendly - lots of imagination on the walls and children's projects were everywhere...just showing off their talented young artist. I was impressed on the family atmosphere - The staff was highly trained in the montessori teachings and introduced sign lanuage as well as spanish beginning in their toddler programs - right thru to their private full day kindergarten. We have two children 8 weeks and 3 years. The cuddles program (8wks - 2 1/2) was exceptional. More than I could ask for - low numbers - very caring staff - so clean and organized. The nursery/preschool/pre-k programs were full of hands on learning - with lots of music and art. I felt Kidz Country was safe, extremely clean and full of ""fun"" for my children. Their hours of 7am-6:30pm (with many different schedules - in fact we could make our own - any day any time being offered! wow! as well as being open 52 weeks per year - worked for me and my husband - we work down Westchester. I think that I was so impressed that they were open for over 25 years and are known for never closing - in any weather. No snow delays or any type of weather. If we can bring our child to them - they would be there for us! They offered a parent library and parent seminars as well as one saturday night out per month - 6pm-12 midnight so we could go to a movie/dinner. Yahoo! Kidz Country is truly a Parents Dream as well as a childs. I highly recommend it! more

Being a working parent that travels down county, I found Kidz Country to be exactly what I need. I've been with Kidz Country for 3 years now. My son started the daycare when he was 6 weeks old. When all of the other daycares were closed or had weather delays, Kidz Country was the only one that was guaranteed to be open for me!! Pros: never close, even for bad weather!!! more
