My son loves K.I.S.S (Montclair) 10/9/2007

My husband and I read about this school in the local paper and decided it'd be a good fit for our second child (4 yrs old) He was going to a preschool in Berkeley for 2 years and he's always been quiet over there. He never talked about school or what he did that day. He has only been at KISS for 2 weeks and he can't stop talking about what he's learned everyday. My husband and his parents are ecstatic, since they are Latino themselves. The staff is kind and loving. My son seems to love all of them. My older daughter is more motivated now to keep up her knowledge of Spanish (learned from Dad, of course.) My 2 year old will start there as soon as he turns 3. We are very happy we made the decision to move my son here. And it's only a mile and half away...Icing on the cake!! Pros: Great Staff! Cons: Nothing worth mentioning more

My children do not want to leave at the end of the day 4/13/2007

I can not speak more highly about this preschool. I was wary about the total immersion program and how it would affect my first childs performance in Kindergarten. Well he now knows more then children in two languages. Pros: Big Thumbs up- You can not beat the results Cons: School just moved to new site so they still have not completed some projects more

Wonderful Preschool 12/5/2006

I love this school. I am the mother of four and my two older children went to another well known local preschool, but I switched to this school so my two younger children could have the advantage of being exposed to another language early. At first I was worried because it was a fairly new school of five years, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. This is probably the best experience I have ever had for my children. The teachers are so attentive, it feels like a big warm family. My two youngest have learnt some Spanish already and understand even more. They seem to be learning their numbers faster than my other two older children did, but most importantly they love this school. It makes me feel good to take them to a place they really like and I feel that I am giving them the best advantages possible. Great experience. Pros: Really wonderfiul teachers, new facility, new playground more

Best Pre-School East Bay 12/5/2006

This is such a great idea. The children are in a warm loving environment, learning all the traditional skills for their age but also learn the Spanish Language. My 4 year old son can count to 20 in Spanish after only a couple of months. The school just moved to a great new location that has easy freeway access with none of the congestion of central Lafayette. I can't say enough great things about this school, my younger daughter will definitely be going when she turns two. Pros: great exposure to another language, great warm environment Cons: the vegetable garden still needs to be planted more

Fantastic Preschool 7/6/2005

I can't praise this Preschool enough. It is a total Spanish immersion Preschool that not only prepares the kids for Elementary school, but also teaches a language. THey have fiestas celebrating different latin cultures with authentic dancers and muscians. The teaches are very kind and loving. My children love it and don't want to leave when I pick them up.
