Do not send them to this daycare. This is coming from a parent whose children have been in that daycare. Yes, the daycare is beautiful inside and out. However, that does not excuse the poor quality of service that is given to the children. I have walked into that daycare and found that children were not properly attended (staff not in the room with the children or out of child to teacher ratio). I have seen bottles of milk sitting out on the tables that were not in use, or bottles on the floor which I consider unsanitary. The staff were not interacting with the children like they should be, and seem to be poorly educated about the care of the children. I have seen a few teachers on the cell phone while they should be watching the children. Some of the staff were not friendly, not greeting the parents (or visitors) when they enter the building or the room. There have been a few complaints that have been made to the state of Ohio that teachers were hitting the children and other concerns, and I found this out from another staff member which I had a good relationship with. From my personal experience, I have over heard the staff themselves using language that is not approriate for children to hear and my children were not well cared for, such as faces not being cleaned, shoe laces not being tied which can be a safety hazard, and not being changed on the regular basis. Children should not be sent home wet. Children should be checked before departure from the center. This has happened on countless occasions. I have brought my concerns to the daycare admininstator and the owners, but they did nothing to resolve the problems. Childcare can stressful as it is because you are trusting your babies to basically strangers so that you can go to work and provide for you family. Also, if you are paying for child care, it can be extremely expensive. So you don't want to have to waste your money for inadequate service -- money that you work hard to get. Don't waste your time.
Pros: It is a beautiful center.
Cons: The staff is poorly trained.
