Kiddie College

We felt that the name ""Kollege"" was an indication that this facility was more than just custodial, but was fostering a preschool like environment as well. We were wrong, but the fact that the name of the business is purposefully misspelled should have been our first clue. Numerous surprise visits by mom and dad showed that the children were asked to sit and do nothing for long periods of time. The children rarely went outside and were often yelled at in loud intimidating voices. Concerns we had about teachers and other issues were not addressed and we were made to feel like our children were not wanted there. If you prefer a custodial environment were children are simply placed in a room with others the same age and watched by the adults, then this is the place for you. If your child requires more of a stimulating environment with preschool like activities designed to improve language and fine motor skills and creativity, I would look elsewhere. more

let me start by saying that the director is nice. Otherwise It has been clear to me that my son's teacher has no respect for herself as a teacher, for my son as her student or for me as a parent who wants to be involved. I understand the early years of our children's development to be most crucial in shaping who they will become. Why am I feeling guilty for wanting high standards for my child. EVEN THE BARE MINIMUM!!!!! I am upset and disappointed. My son has become shy because of how brute his teacher is and she told us one day as we were walking in the classroom that she ""was not in the mood so hurry up and sit down"".....I WAS STILL STANDING THERE!! it makes me worry about what she says when im NOT around. the list goes on. people avoid this school if your kid just turned 3. turn and run.
