Kid to Kid Aurora

If you want to save money on kids clothing, this is the place to shop! As with any consignment shop the inventory varies from week to week. However, I have found some fantastic deals on kids clothing. With 3 kids, I save hundreds by shopping here! It is one of the best kids consignment shops in the Denver area. I drive out of my way to shop there. more

Clearly these reviews are a little old. Because if you come in it is completely different than what these reviews put it to be. It is an awesome place. So many things to choose from. They sell items from maternity to size 12. They have both boy and girl items. Also have everything you'll need to start off your nursery (besides cribs and dressers). So many great books, movies, hair bows, clothes a galore, shoes, toys, and so much more. I love this unique little store. It is a consignment store. You are able to sell your unneeded items to get either cash or 20% more in store credit. They only take good quality, name brand items. They check for recalled items and everything that comes in is checked to make sure it works. So I feel bad for whoever has had a bad experience here because that's truly not how this place is at all. Great service, friendly staff, and plenty to choose from. If you don't find what you need that day come back because what's there changes daily. That's the joy and treasure of this place. It's never the same. I do recommend this store to anyone pregnant or has children. more

WOW! Was I ever disappointed by Kid to Kid. I rang the store yesterday to ask about reselling some of my daughter's toys. The member of staff said I would receive 30% of the retail price for the items their buyer chose to sell for cash and 50% for a store credit. Ok I thought that's about what I would get if we sold them at a garage sale. So this morning I loaded up three boxes of toys and drove out to the Aurora store. I must add that my daughter has always really looked after her toys...so they were all in GREAT condition. After waiting in the store for the items to be priced I was offered silly prices for all of the items. For example I was offered 38 cents for a Melissa and Doug 200 piece puzzle in mint condition that cost $10.00. Here's another example...we brought a NEW never opened or used Rock Tumbler Kit.( a gift that was unused as she already had one). Kid to Kid offered us $1 28 for it when it sells for over $45. Needless to say I did not sell any of my items to the store. Instead I went home listed them on Craigs List and a few hours later have received several offers for many of the items. So save yourself disappointment and don't waste your time going to Kid to Kid to sell toys. more

I went to their $5/bag sale. It was only the 2nd day and the old, out-of-style clothes they were offering should have been given to the thrift store instead. The prices on the rest of the items in the store are way too high to be justified for used clothes. Why spend $8.99 on a used dress for a newborn? Or $169 for an out-of-style blue denim glider rocker when there's Craigslist! The racks were so stuffed with clothes that I couldn't move the hangers- no wonder their inventory is so large- people can go down the street to ARC for better deals on used clothes. Kid to Kid is AWESOME! Recently started shopping here, and let me tell you: this is one incredible store! Defintely NOT a thrift store! The staff are totally sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. I found tons of cute clothes for my son at great prices. Most things run between $5 and $10, and they have all the name brands: Gymboree, Carters, Janie and Jack, Timberland, Roca Wear -- you name it, they've probably got it. The store is clean and very well organized -- easy to shop here and find what you need, and fun to just browse too. They also have maternity clothes at unbelievable prices, and go up to pre-teen sizes. Oh, and tons of baby equipment too! And TOYS! I'll be shopping here for a while, THAT'S for sure. They will even buy my son's clothes and stuff from me after he grows out of them (think I'll bring in his old toddler bed), and I can get cash or store credit to put towards the things he needs now. It's a really smart way to keep him in clothes, and with the way he grows... Pros: Great prices! Clean! Organized! Friendly! Cons: None come to mind. more
