I had the worst experience I've ever had with any business!They are dishonest & unfair.My 8 year old son is trying to raise money for something he wants to buy. I convinced him to send his things to a "great consignment shop" someone recommended instead of selling them himself. He went through all his things & sent new & gently used items.Being short on time (traveling back and forth to another state dealing with my dying mother), I sent them with my babysitter.They kept all his new birthday present items(a skateboard, star wars vehicle, a battleship game & a wall hanging all unopened & in original packaging). The new items alone totaled over $200.00. They also kept several barely used items including rescue heroes with vehicles, games & etc. My son didn't expect a lot because we know they have to make a profit. We did expect more than the $17.15 they gave us (approx. 8% of the new items alone). They definitely made their profit! Not to mention robbing my son of his birthday gifts! My son and I went to the store the next morning.The items were still behind the counter waiting to be put out. I asked the manager how they came up with the pricing and she said she didn't know & couldn't find the info. I then asked them to take the money back and give us my son's items.They said "No, the transaction has already been made and there is nothing we can do". I was so upset & my son was in tears.My voice got shaky and high and they asked me to leave & threatened to call someone to escort me out. I should have done several things differently but trusted them not to take advantage of my young sitter. They didn't even bother to tell her what they kept or to call me, knowing she had brought them in for someone else. I'm not sure what the price difference would have been if I had gone but I suspect they saw a young girl and took advantage of her. My son, babysitter, & I all learned a valuable lesson-some people are just dishonest and rude and take advantage of unsuspecting people. I do not recommend this store to anyone more

I used to go there to shop,and the selection was just ok. I tried to sell some clothes today and was very disappointed. Of all the barely -worn, like new clothes I brought- only 5 items were selected for a measley 9 dollars. I mentioned this to a friend who had also heard this from a few other people. Just not worth the effort- For 9 dollars I would have felt better about donating them to a good cause. That is what I'll do next time. more

Kid to Kid is a good kids consignment store. They carry nice merchandise and it is generally reasonably well priced. They know the brands well, so they price boutiquen higher than some of the other consignment stores in town. They have a seperate section for Gymboree, so it's a great store for Gymbo lovers. They also a have a very nice selection of new gifts. The staff is very nice. They have great sales. This is a store worth visiting. more
