My sister went here to get a car her credit however was messed up so she asked me to consign fine I said. This is my baby sister. She called me the next day so that one Kevin could speak to me Lexington law is fixing my credit. Kevin said iwotld be the coapplication he did not say they would run my credit as the applicant. I got a called from Lexington who said my credit score drop because of a hard inquire. And Kevin going to be telling me that oh they never ran my credit? You are a bunch of liars. My sister never got the car because you need her to come up with $2,000 she told you her sistuation she could only do $500. I told her go to Honda who I got a CR-Z 2015 with $513 down payment brand new with a credit score of 518 never needed a cosigner nothing anyone wanting to get a car lease or finance living in maryland go to Honda Toyota is not for people or to help it's all about money. more

HORRIBLE 3/5/2011

I purchased a 2009 toyota and within the first 5000 miles body parts started falling off the car. They take no responsibility for this. There service manager calls the parts that are falling off "damaged". They are damage because the plastic connectors are missing. I pulled one out with my fingers. First the rocker panel fell off. Now the rear bumper is falling off. There is not even a scratch on the paint indicating a strike of some kind. The air is causing the parts to fall off. When I asked the manager if air should be able to cause parts to fall off, he called me rude and said they would do nothing. I had to file a civil case against them. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. more

TOYOTA BOWIE IS ALL BUT 1 STAR! WHO POSTED THESE SEVERAL 5 STARS??? COME ON... I say Erik Thompson is an absolute liar because he got the car with all the features but he stepped out and said, "no, it's not included but if you really want it, i.e., rear deck spoiler, that can be added for an extra cost." He stepped out again and gave the sale price and came back that this car does not include college rebate, sorry the price is $1000 more. He stepped out again and come back, and said "you would need to sign the contract in order for Toyota Bowie to order the car for you." He stepped out again and come back with a blank sheet and said, "it's okay to sign on the paper because it's just a draft for finance to figure the math without any details of the price on paper." Lou as he claims him to be the general manager is very unprofessional and rude. He lacks the manner of a general manager. more

Very simple and honest 12/29/2010

Kevon kept the negotiations very simple and honest, and I walked out of the dealership with the deal that I wanted. He was very friendly, courteous and easy to work with. I would recommend him to any friends or family that are in the market for a new car. The financing person had us out of the dealership in only tne minutes, which was very much appreciated. I most liked working with Kevon. his employment at Toyota of Bowie made deciding where to buy my new car very easy. more

Salesman was extremely helpful and courteous. The negotiation was well received, I am completely satisfied of the outcome. The final paperwork were handled in a prompt and efficient manner. There are no delays. Because of the ease and comfort I experienced during my purchased I would definitely recommended this dealership. Really trying to address our needs 12/17/2010

The sales person was really efficient and not pushy. Even after we made our decision on the Highlander and asked her if we could check out a Rav4, she gladly showed us some Rav4 and allowed us to test drive one. We felt she was really trying to address our needs and not just sell us a car. more

I just bought a 2009 Toyota Matrix from Toyota of Bowie. It was the best experience I ever had buying a car. My salesperson was James Earley, definitely ask for him, he was not pushy at all, and it was very comfortable working with him. And the finance people were great. I was worried about my payments and they worked with me so well. The day after I bought the car the finance guy called me and said I think I can find you a better interest rate at another bank. I've never heard of a dealership that would call you back the next day even after you've signed the papers. If you already bought your car then I would def tell your friends and family about them. They even feed you popcorn and water/soda while your dealing. It's a great place. And definitely ask for James Earley, he works hard for you, and finds exactly what you like. more

My overall experience with purchasing a Toyota Camry from Toyota of Bowie was wonderful. I never felt rushed or pushed into making a decision. My sales rep was very professional and very thorough in explaining the car and everything else that goes along with a new car purchase. I have to say that Customer Service is obviously very important to Toyota because everyone at this dealership was friendly and always offered assistance. Even when the dealership was overrun with people purchasing cars under the CARS Program the folks at Toyota kept smiles on their faces and tried to accommodate all the customers. I had to return to have an alarm and protectant coating put on the car. Toyota provided me with another car to drive while mine was being taken car of. Chrysler never did that for me! All I've got left to say is that in the future, if the automotive department measures up to the sales and customer service departments, then I would not have a reason to ever go to another dealer for my next car purchase! A+++ for Toyota of Bowie.... more

Had no problems 11/2/2010

I decided to just handle things over the internet and email. First time I negotiated over the internet for a car. I ended up ordering my truck from Toyota of Bowie. The guy I dealt with Internet Salesman Tim Smith was very nice and answered all my questions both online and in person and I had no problems. more

My internet salesperson was Anthony Cason (AC). His Manager is Tim Smith. This was by far, the best car buying experience I have had dealing with these two individuals, but especially with AC. Why? Because it was a "no pressure, educational, your time is my time, we will go above and beyond to make you happy" type of experience. They say that car dealerships take advantage of women. I am an older lady who does her research and asked many questions to determine the accuracy of his knowledge. AC not only knows the Toyota cars. He has no problem working with his customers to insure their full understanding of every aspect that the two of you are involved in prior to even talking "purchase"...I loved that. This young man was respectful, patient and followed up on everything that he stated he would in a timely fashion. Actually, he was the reason I purchased the car in the end. I would recommend him to anyone and found the people at Toyota to be very diligent about servicing their customers. My experience was an excellent one. And not to overlook Ken Patterson, he worked with me the first day I visited the dealership and he too was a very positive reflection of Toyota of Bowie. Great place to buy a car because they are in the business of working to keep you as a returning customer. Nuff said! more

I like how Sergio (financing) took his time to explain all the details. He drew illustrations and wrote everything down to make me feel at ease that what he was telling me was what I was getting. Victoria was also helpful in setting up my Lojack installation and accommodating me when i needed to change my appointment more

My husband and I recently bought a new Toyota Corolla and we decided to use the no-haggle car buying service through our credit union, USAA. Through the service we were assigned Kristin Schultz at the Bowie of Toyota dealership and we couldn't have asked for a better match. Kristin was very thorough going over all the details of the car with us, easy to talk to, and happy to answer our questions. When it came time to talk price, the numbers she showed us exactly matched with the price we expected based on our own research - no funny business or mysterious extra charges. We might not be good at haggling, but we are very good at research (I'm a CPA and my husband's a software engineer - can you get more detail oriented), so trust me when I say that we had done our research. Kristin never tried to push us or talk us into something other than what we wanted. She was exactly what we hoped for in a car dealer. And in the end, we felt very comfortable giving her our business. I would highly recommend Kristin to others out there looking to buy a Toyota or Scion. She's honest and professional and does not fit the stereotype of a typical car dealer. My husband and I discovered that car buying doesn't have to be the tiring and frustrating process we expected it to be - what a relief! more

Lavonne was very accommodating and friendly. This dealership would do well to hire and retain more like-minded workers. I would purchase from Lavonne again and i am willing to follow her to another dealership if she were to leave Toyota of Bowie when we purchase again. I have already referred her to four people. more
