Enjoyable experience 3/17/2005

We always get the buffet which is an excellent value. They have a very nice mix of meat and vegetarian dishes to choose from. We have been to the restaurant 3-4 times and every time the service has been friendly and prompt. They do not rush you with a check, but rather, encourage you to have more dessert. We always enjoy going for dinner then to a movie across the street. more

Bad food..!! Worse Service...!! 1/28/2005

If u r up for some real bad food and stuck-up attitude from the head waiter, Khyber Pass is highly recommended. Not only the is food devoid of any taste, it lacks authenticity. The buffet which is set at a high price lacks variety. The person who was taking the orders will made us feel as if was doing us a huge favor by letting us eat there. The menu is overpriced and is not worth a single penny. Pros: Good Parking Cons: Expensive, Overpriced, Bad Service more

Not worth your money 1/27/2005

This authentic Indian restaurant was not what I had in mind the day we went. The only thing it has is its buffet but we did not like it at all. I personally think after being to so many Indian restaurants that this one was the worst. Its food was so bland and tasteless to me. The buffet is expensive and not worth the money. I just dont understand how in the world it has a good rating. I would personally rate is 2 out of 10. To add to all of that the person attending to us was so crude and that did not help. They have to build up on their food and customer service. I personally would not recomend this restaurant to anyone unless and until people like bland food. Oak Park Yummies 10/9/2003

The food here is great! The service is a little off sometimes, and the decor leaves much to the imagination, but the food more than makes up for it. They have live sitar music on the weekends which adds a little to the ambiance - it doesn't interfere with your meal. The locals pack this joint every weekend night so get there early. Great food for a great value. Try the sag paneer! They offer a buffet too, but I've never tried it, I prefer to order off the menu. Pros: Food, Value Cons: Service, Ambiance more
