We've come here a number of times since moving to Keene. We weren't impressed (it's kind of dumpy, lots of broken/faded buttons, this time one of the brick trash bins was a pile of ruble and just sitting there) but it's the only full car wash in town and it's usable. We usually spend $20 to $40 thoroughly cleaning out our car using their services and products.\r

We show up to clean out my sister's minivan before returning it to her. Out of nowhere some very gruff and rude stranger drives up in a pickup and starts harassing us and asking what we're doing there. My partner had a look of disbelief at the customer service fail unfolding, so he drove closer to her and said, ""Are you giving me a look?"" Classy. We assured him we would use his vacuum. He drove a little away from us, stopped, and then as he drove away an attendant strolled over and hovered around us.\r

If his concern was that we were going to dump and run, then there are better ways to handle that, though he didn't really want to hear anything we had to say about it and seemed more interested in hollering at us. We understand people dumping their trash there is probably a problem and that he would like to make sure bins are used by customers. If I had ever treated anyone in my years working in customer service the way he talked to us, I would have been fired. He got the $1.25 for the use of the vacuum, we decided not to buy the Armor All or the air fresheners, and we'll save our business for when we go out of town. It's worth it to not spend $20-$40 a visit at a place where the management prefers to just knee-jerk abuse people verbally.
