Best Equipment/Service most Professional Staff/Doctors 9/8/2011

In the world of Eye Doctors (as with everything else), you really do get what you pay for. My contact lense-correct eyesight was terrible until I listened to the Galveston locals and visited Dr. Katz and discovered that my "budget" eye doctor I had previously been a patient of had not fit my lenses correctly. I had no idea how much I was missing! I love this place! It has a charm of its own. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. I have been going to TSO in Galveston for the past 6 years and wouldn't recommend anywhere else. more

Having an eye exam is not my favorite thing in the world...but as eye exams go...this is about as good as it is going to be! Everyone was nice and polite, and on time!! Very important to me... See you next year! Susan more

Great experience 9/3/2011

IThe act that I was a "walk" didn't alter the way I was treated. The receptionist was the best. She was so helpful and friendly. The next person to see me was Cynthia(I hope I have her name right) She was upbeat and very knowledgable without making me feel dumb.Next was Cindy, super sweet and helpful. Finally, Dr. Katz, Awesome. Very smart and personable. Very honest about what the best options were for me.The office set up is top notch and efficient. And the fact that I could read without "cheaters" when I walked out of there was just the best. I will recommend this office to all I encounter. Thank you for a wonderful experience! more

Great First Time Visit 8/31/2011

Dr. Katz was referred to me by a friend. I found everyone extremely friendsly, including Dr. Katz. I needed a new doctor because the one I was going to had a definite attitude. Everyone here was friendly and professional. I will be sending my husband to Dr. Katz very shortly. more

Eye care 8/25/2011

I have been a customer at this office for a number of years. After visits w/ opthamology @ UTMB and a local opthamology office, I feel my care at Tx State Optical surpasses care I've received elsewhere. I'm always cared for promptly, efficiently. I'm also impressed the staff has been there for so long. Makes me feel that the staff are also valued and highly thought of by the doctors and Tx State Optical. I recommend this office frequently. Thank you for taking such good care of me! more
