Kersey Valley Spookywoods High Point, NC Review Date: 02/27/2012 It appears that the negative reviews from the Janee and Hauntedgenre that have posted everywhere they could find a review site must be an effort to slam this amazing haunt for no reason other than to sway you to go to Woods of Terror. Sounds fishy to me as Spookywoods is by far the best haunted attraction I have ever been to. I've traveled all over North Carolina. My friends and I have NEVER been disappointed! The new restrooms and concessions are a very welcomed feature, I have never seen a haunt invest so much to make the guest experience over the top. I can't imagine how much money they pour into their events, it is much more than just a haunted house. How many haunts can say their restrooms are nicer than ones you see at a 5 star hotel? The sets in Spookywoods keep you guessing where the scare is coming from whole time! I welcome the fact that Kersey Valley works hard not do the same thing year after year. In 2011 they introduced laser tag, no other haunt pushes the edge like Spookywoods. I hope they bring back laser tag as a option, I agree it's not for everyone, but I loved it. Don't be fooled, the numbers of great reviews that are easy to find and far out weight the efforts of two people trying to slam a great business. more

Spookywoods 2011 is not scary or even very fun. The laser tag needs to be an option. It was boring, there were 8 zombies, and the equipment doesn't work well. Everyone was confused and the only entertaining part were the other patrons shooting at you. The maze through the woods seemed promising, but in the end it's just a nice walk in the forest with green Christmas lights. They're very proud of their new cafe and restrooms, which are nice, but they need to focus on their core competency more
