This is one of the best ""family owned"" restaurants in Indiana. There is nothing ""pre-made"" here. Everything is homemade, right down to the creamy mashed potatoes and chicken gravy. The buttermilk biscuits are just the way Grandma use to make them. This place is not fast food! The relaxing, clean, cozy setting sets you back in time. Back to a time when life was much slower and people were more friendly. Our pan-fried chicken dinner took 30 minutes to arrive at our table, but considering the menu stated it could take up to 45 minutes we were happy to get it ahead of time and believe me it was worth the wait. The chicken was tender, juicy and perfectly coated. While waiting for our chicken we enjoyed a wonderful salad bar offering homemade coleslaw and speciality salads. Everything was fresh and tasty. Our server was a delightful young lady who was friendly and polite. No complaints here, just good food, good serice and a great experience.
Pros: Clean, Friendly, Homemade food
Cons: Wish it was closer to Cincinnati
