I needed front disc brakes and to have the rotors turned on my son's car. They told my son that the car also needed rear disc brake pads, new rotors front and back, and new calipers and that the repairs would be $1000. I knew the car did not need rear brakes done as we had recently done those repairs. I asked them to allow my son to take pictures of what was needed and to give us the old parts. They then said that we didn't need to do the rear and that it would be $470.Instead of allowing him to take pictures they bled the brakes so it could not be driven and put the wheels back on and parked it. They tried their best to rip my son off . I had the car towed to another shop as they ruined the brakes (the car could not be dirven after they messed around with the front brakes). They are theives that try to take advantage of young people who are not familiar with brake systems (like my son). more

AVOID at ALL COST 10/30/2010

This is the worst place I?ve ever been. The only reason I went there was because they offered a 10% student discount, however, DO not be fooled! more

Re- Avoid if possible 8/27/2010

I'm sure, you are disappointed that the repairs for your car were crazy expensive, but I know for a fact that Kenwood Muffler and Brake is not responsible for selling your car for a profit, the last time I checked they were a repair shop and not in the business of selling cars.. So if you could please blame the appropriate party it would be much appreciated. It is a well known fact that salvage yards rarely pay for cars any more, and often times resell them, I understand it isn't right or fare but it is the way they operate. more

Avoid if possible 1/18/2008

I had them salvage my car after deciding that the repairs to fix it were ridiculously expense. However, they wouldn?t give me a dime for the car. I later found out that they didn?t salvage the car, but were planning on fixing the car and selling the car for a profit. I highly question the honesty and integrity of this repair shop. I have reason to believe that the same was done to my friend?s car, who had her car worked on and eventually salvaged by this same shop. As a citizen and car enthusiast, it is my duty to warn you about this shop! Pros: Timeliness Cons: Customer Service, Honesty more
