Have you filed a complaint with the Kentucky Board of Auctioneers and been unsatisfied with their findings? I'd like to hear your story as I'm considering litigation... perhaps class action for all of us. \r

Between June of 2006 and May of 2007, there were at least 1,149 complaints filed (mine was numbered 07-1149) yet only one... ONE auctioneer lost his license!!! I smell somthing bad. I know that my complaint (five type-written pages) contained several rather simple infractions that were easy to see yet, after being ""investigated"", my complaint was dismissed by the Board. Any one of the basic points about which I complained required action by the Board. The more complicated points of my complaint that, with thorough investigation and witness testimony, would have proven fraud and a systematic approach of wrongdoing by Thompson & Riley, Ltd., Auctioneers and Realtors... were entirely overlooked. In the end... my complaint was dismissed with prejudice!!!\r

We wronged parties need to band together. This crookedness must be brought to light and those responsible for sweeping us under the carpet must be held accountable. Please send me as much information as possible about your complaint and the response from the Board. I'll review and, if I find a pattern of wrongdoing by looking at the whole of the cases, I'll get it to lawyers. Based on my experience, I think this will be a slam dunk but, first, we need to get an overall look at the big picture.\r

Cons: Absolutely abandoned the public trust they claim to be protecting.
