Grand Rapids dentist Dr. Kent R. Wildern and his experienced team have provided quality dental care to individuals and families in Northeast Grand Rapids for more than 35 years. Dr. Wildern grew up in Charlotte, Michigan, just south of Lansing. In 1975 he married his wife, Coni and after dental school, they moved to her hometown — Grand Rapids. Dr. Wildern earned his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Ferris State University in 1976. He graduated with honors in 1980 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Michigan. In addition, Dr. Wildern has received advanced training in orthodontics, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. The medical field has always been a part of his family. His parents and an older brother were registered pharmacists. His other brother works in Internal Medicine in the Hastings area. Dr. Wildern designed and built his present dental office in 1997. Dr. Wildern and Coni have two sons and daughter-in-laws and now a grandson and a granddaughter. In his spare time, Dr. Wildern enjoys snow skiing, fly fishing, biking, photography and traveling.
