Wide selection of indie flims 12/9/2005

This is a great place if you are a fan of the classics, indie moveis or cult classics. The staff is helpful and will provide guidance if needed. I like to just roam the aisles looking for new movies to check out. Parking is easy in the neighborhood. They also have buy/resell unique films. Give them a call, and they will do a shelf check for you. more

Awesome Store! 11/29/2005

This video store is family owned and operated, and even though it's packed in a small lot, their are hundreds of movies. Oldies and new releases alike are there for your viewing pleasure. The collection of adult films and games are also fantastic. The fee for a membership is only around ten dollars and movie rentals (at the moment) are 99 cents! I just moved here and it's a great place instead of other large retailers. more

great for those hard to find movies 11/27/2005

Whenever I took film classes in school, my professors always recommended going to Kensington video. even though it is smaller compared to the bigger chains out there, you'll always be able to find what you need here. This was always at the top of my professors lists, especially for those hard to find shakesphere films that my professor required for one of my classes. more

Any movie you can think of (and ones you can't) 8/12/2005

This is the only real video store I have been to in San Diego. Family owned and operated, this video store is packed to the ceiling with the largest selection of movies around. The staff is very knowledgeable, and very willing to assist you in locating that special film. There is a large selection of foreign and adult movies also, for those occasions. The video store is right next to the Ken theater on Adams avenue. membership is $10 for life, and movies are $2.50. more
