If you are looking for the latest steel roller coasters, don't go to Kennywood. None of the coasters can be considered thrill rides. The only thing scary about Kennywood, is that once in a while, your safety may come loose. The wooden rollercoasters are the only highlight of the park. Go during the fright fest in October. more

Great Family Fun 8/5/2005

Kennywood is an all time classic amusement park. Many of the roller coasters and other attractions are original to the park giving it a real sense of history and hometown roots. Yet, on the the park has made many improvements and has added newer rides in order to keep up with today's thrill-seekers. Kennywood may not be able to compete with some of the larger, more modern theme parks in regards to the grandness of many of the other parks' coasters and thrill rides, but it makes for a wonderful, memory-filled day. My only complaint is that I feel the admission fee is a little high for what they have to offer. more

Fun! 8/1/2005

Kennywood is fun for all ages. They are constantly adding new thrill rides and the service is great. You can always fine someone that can answer your question. The food is awesome, it is known for its Potato Patch fries, and there are restaurants right outside the gates if you prefer. The prices have rose which made it pretty expensive for a ticket but if you take advantage of discounts it can make for a day of fun! more

Kennywood Amusement Park 7/19/2005

Kennywood: America's Favorite Traditional Amusement Park is proud to be a National Historic Landmark I really miss this year the general admission ticket. I have a 5 year old who only does kiddyland and to pay $28.95 for me to ride in kiddyland just does not seem very fair. Also we used to go quite often just to walk around, play some games and enjoy the potato patch fries. We went last year 5 times and I am afraid that we probably will not be able to even go this year due to the prices. Kennywood is a great amusement park for all ages. more
