This park is NOT in the best part of town. It's along the Anacostia River, which is unfortunately rather polluted. This is, however, a very cool place to see lotus flowers of all types. There are some nice boardwalk paths and some more rugged paths. It's still basically a wetlands, so beware the bugs. The nice thing is that this park is hardly ever crowded and can be rather educational for the kids.
