He recently did a relocation appraisal for us and used almost only bank owned and short sales houses as comparables to come up with his appraisal value. His valuation is lower than all the sold properties including foreclosure houses in our community. He is not truly an independent appraiser, and lowered his appraisal under the pressure of the relocation company. If you want to seek a fair appraisal for your financing or relocation, AVOID him at any cost!!
