I called and asked for a service quote. Lady on the phone told me it was $114 an hour for labor. Two guys showed up at my house took one look and my shower and told me they could not fix it but would have to order parts. It would cost $$$$$. I said thank you and I would call them. They told me that would be $114. What? They didn't do anything. They said they couldn't fix the shower. They didn't even open it up, so they couldn't even be sure what was wrong. In other words, they were not hired yet! They said they understood my concern and would call the office. They called upline THREE different people. Got to the owner who said I had to pay up. NO WAY! They didn't DO ANYTHING. I didn't even get a legitimate service quote. I refused to sign paper. Owner JOE plumber called me and was horribly patronizing and rude. I thought he called to work things out, but he didn't even listen to my position, but interrupted me and told me that if I didn't pay up he would put a lien on my house and take me to court. I said, ""You would put a lien on my house for $114?"" He said, ""WE DO IT ALL THE TIME."" Yes he did. What kind of business is this?\r

I see the business plan. Come over and make sure you get in the house. Don't do anything, but promise to come back later. Charge $114 now AND next time you come for as many times as it takes. If customer doesn't want to pay, put a lien on their house. That will teach em!
