Ken Grody Ford #1 San Diego Ford Dealer

My husband and I went to Ken Grody looking to buy a used Epedition we saw on an internet ad. Dean, internet sales manager helped us. He was friendly, considerate and never tried to force a sales pitch down our throats. I have had horrible car buying experiences in the past, but this was great. We had two mechanical issues after we took it home. We called the dealership and they fixed the issues right away and without any hassels. I recieved a follow up call a few days after to make sure everything was still good. I am so impressed with their quality of customer service. I would recommend this dealership and especially Dean to any of my friends. more

I was the 5-star review up top. Now I have to come back and say that the other reviewers were right and I was wrong. Since then, i think they've ripped me off a couple of times. The last time was a joke--I walked out after the estimate. What a shady place. more

It pains me to even write this mail.I have never had such a disappointing experience car-shopping so far. I contacted thjs delearship via phone for a 2005 Kia optima advertised in Autoweb and deeply regret doing so. First our repeated inquiries for the car ended up with "We will get back to you in 5 minutes". This happened four times and I never got a response. Four days later I got a call from your dealership confirming about the car. We were repeatedly contacted by a person called Sheriff from the dealership about the car. Yesterday evening too this guy called up my wife asking when we would be able to make the visit.We reached your dealership travelling 50 miles for the sake to find the car was already sold.( We had enquired before starting today morning if the car was still in stock and it was confirmed to us). On speaking to Sheriff he denied calling us yesterday and said some one in the dealership is using his name and calling us. This is the first time I have come across such a dishonest and selfish marketing dealership. We are going to escalate issues of this dealership at every internet forum possible to avoid future customer harassments. more

Don't go to Ken Grody Ford! They took two hours longer than promised to fix my car, and then tried to charge me double the estimate price! And to make it even worse, I kept getting harrassed by slimy car salesmen to buy a new car while I waited for my car to be fixed! more

OK, so I thought I would never write a positive review of a car dealership. I have been there twice to service my Ford Escape, and it's been great and reasonably priced! I even got estimates from other garages the first time and the price was great at Ken Grody. They have a courtesy shuttle and it was was fast--I only had to wait a couple of minutes. They checked on recalls, were thorough in the evaluation of the problem, delivered the car as promised on time, didn't even charge for one item once. They called afterwards to make sure I was happy. Happy?!? I was in shock! What a great place. more
