Driving up Revere Beach Blvd and saw Kelly's, not a long line, thought i had heard of the place somewhere in my travels. Stashed my yankees hat under the car seat and headed in.

Not only does Kelly's have the FINEST french fries, but they have the best Roast Beef sandwiches. I love Kelly's and think it is the best place to eat just outside of Boston. more

Hardly Cheap and not even that good 10/29/2002

The only time anyone should go Kelly's is if they are on the beach already, or if they go there after the night clubs let out in the summer at 2am. At 2am I am willing to eat just about anything, including a beef from Kelly's, that is if I haven't already spent all my money. Money? You'll need it. Prices are rediculous, beef is ok, clam chowder is watery, onion rings stink, line is long, and service is slow. Don't get me wrong, I like this place, but I don't love it. Just because originated this Roast Beef Sandwich, doesn't mean they perfected it. Pros: Fun, sometimes Cons: Expensive, Long Line, Ok Food more

kellys has slipped since they opened. talk about grease city, and their prices have gone sky high. 10 bucks for a roastbeef, fries and a drink. Cons: no parking, food is greasy, OVERPRICED more

The Best Burger!!! 10/12/2002

I'm not a big beef eater, never was, but Kelley's cheeeburgers are the absolute best anywhere! I never order from anywhere else... just the right size, just the right amount of gooey cheese. Perfect! And I love the pickle that comes with the burger also. A nice treat. Kelley's is still reasonably priced, and you do get the bang for your buck. I've also been to Kelley's on Route One, and at Kelley's at the Liberty Tree Mall. The food is as good, but the atmosphere is difinitely difference...A++++++ Pros: quality, quanity, cost Cons: parking/beach more

Great Food and Lot's of it 10/3/2002

I think Kelly's Roast Beef is one of the best places to eat. The portions are excellent. I think the Lobster Roll is the best, it's overflowing with Lobster. I would recomend it to anyone who hasn't ben there. The other selections are good also. Pros: Good Food, Good Portions, Great Atmosphere more

Kelly's voted as one of the best cheap eats? I believe hardly so!!! It is neither the best or cheap. Maybe 20 years ago. But not any longer. It has lost its original flavor in my opinion. more

Revere Beach location. Great outdoor fare. Everything from hot dogs to lobster sandwiches and roast beef is beautifully presented on paper service in a bag for your transport convenience to the beach wall. Romance depends on your partner's accomodation to beach behavior. Pros: fresh air, ocean across the st, unlimited seating Cons: no air conditioning more

Note the zip code. I'm a local who thinks that unless it's 3 AM and you're drunk you've made a bad decision. This place simply needs to be debunked. Some things are fine some like the signature roast beef are just awful. Besides, you have to eat the food either in your car or across the street sitting on gull dropping. Kelly is conveniently located right across form the Revere Beach. So after a bathing in the sun or a refreshing swim Kelly's is a great place to sink your teeth into their classic mouth-watering roast beef sandwiches. If you don't like the sandwiches, their fries are absolutely gratifying, with their soft rich inside and crisp, crunchy outside who can beat the enjoyment of Kelly's. Overrated 6/4/2002

I used to race to Kelly's in a cab at 2am on Saturday to grab a scallop plate before I prepared for my morning hangover. I'd also go there to satisfy a craving for a roast beef or fried clams. Then Kelly's started to believe their own hype, started to raise prices A LOT, give you more fries and less seafood and expand with other locations so the quality suffered. What a disappointment. They used to be great. more
