I decided it was time to look for a new leather jacket, as my old one was falling apart. I wanted a casual Leather Jacket, and intended to look in all the usual places, like Wilson's and the dept. stores. While preparing to make the tour of the usual places, expecting to log hours of walking around malls, knowing it would ending in a compromise of quality and exactly what I wanted... I decided to visit a store I had passed a thousand times, yet had never entered. Kelly's leather works. since I don't ride I really wasn't sure a biker jacket was what I wanted, but I did want quality so it was worth a try. \r
First off let me say if you love the smell of leather, and who doesn't? This is the best smelling store on earth. Once inside the staff greeted me and proved to be the most helpful customer service reps I have ever encountered. Not once did sense that all too familiar feeling of the ""High Pressure Sell"" As a matter of fact, I never felt like I was being sold at all. Rather, I had a helpful person there answering my questions, as well as asking me question that aided in determining the right jacket for me. I really liked a jacket that didn't quite fit perfect and they took the to fit me in an item that felt like it had been made for me. They could have made a quick sale, and yet they stood back and said I don't like the way that hangs on you, we can do better. \r
When I had narrowed my search down to two candidates, I said I was going to go have a drink on main street and think about it. Instead of trying to talk me into pulling the trigger, they said, here is the stock number of the two jackets, so you dont have to try them all on again to find the right fit again, and then they recommended a nice place to have a drink.\r

There was a ton of inventory, classic styles and modern alike. every leather accessory you can imagine. They do custom work, alterations, and I am certain no one leaves Kelly's unsatisfied.\r
\r
Another thing that must be said,,, EVERYTHING in the store is Made in America! \r
How sweet is that?!?!\r

I walked out in a gorgeous jacket, that fit's like a glove, and is thick enough to stop 38 caliber slug at point blank range. The price, well lets just say I got better quality, and paid 1/3 the price I would have at Overlands, and 1/2 what I would have paid at Needless Markup.\r
\r
The last point I'll make, these people made me look good! And THAT aint easy!
