OK, so I was recently laid off and went to a few of the local temporary agencies around Boise to help augment my own job search. Kelly Services is by far the WORST service there is! The staff was rude and totally unhelpful - it was like I was interrupting them from doing somehting important when I was there. They didn't have any REAL jobs, so they wanted to test me for a call center position that they may have available at some unknown time in the future. We'll that job never came. I even called them when I saw a couple of their own job postings for jobs that I was very qualified for to tell them I was interested (they never called me like they said they would if they found a match) and they basically blew me off. I called again for another position and they didn't know who I was and the bumbling manager tried to tell me that they had lost my application and didn't show that I had ever applied with them. Didn't apply! Then what the heck did I do there for over two hours filling out what looked like an application to me and interviewing with some lady who was as interested in me as a tick is in driving a Ferrari! I could go on and on, but you get the picture - Pick any other agency (Manpower, Adecco, Volt, and Gem State Staffing were all very professional and helpful - I even got a good job in short order from one of them).
Pros: They're free to use
Cons: Terrible customer service and no jobs
