If you just need a live human being to talk to she will fit the bill. If you want confidential THERAPY (more than superficial chit-chat) from a person you should be able to trust, look elsewhere. Pros: available by phone anytime you need her, makes appointments short notice, acts nice and friendly. Cons: might communicate or receive information from your family members and not tell you about it, does not offer anything beyond chit-chit, is not honest or trustworthy. Will not give constructive criticism even if asked, will not tell you important information even if asked. Example of her ""therapy"": Told her addicted to food and binged+purged so often sometimes wouldn't come up and felt scared about injuring myself and couldn't stop. She said ""Oh, I knew someone who did that the whole time they were pregnant and the baby was fine. Just tell yourself you're only going to do it once a week, or twice, or three times."" If you want to pay big $ to hear this kind of response, she's available. If you want someone who will be real, truthful, trustworthy, and maybe even give you insightful or helpful information or teach you methods or ways of coping, look elsewhere. If you are lonely and just need someone to talk to, see you short notice and talk to you almost anytime on the telephone, she might be a good choice for you.
