Keller's Contracting

Keller's Contracting was hired to perform a bathroom renovation at my home. This contractor caused major structural damage to my house, violated the building code, tried to cover it up, then refused to remedy. I received a judgment in Allegheny County Civil Court of >$80,000 for damages caused by Keller's Contracting. KELLER DOES NOT STAND BY HIS WORK. Neither does his listed insurance - Main Street America Assurance. The judgment is valid and active at time of this review (2017). Nothing has been fixed. Do not hire. Contractor does not know what he is doing and consumer has no recourse. more

He came in and did the job done very well. He fixed a problem in our roof we had that the last Roofers have messed up. He was in and out and did a great job. No more leaking in our home. I recommend them a lot and they gave us a reasonable price because we paid in cash! more

I needed new roofs on my porch and garage –both had box gutters and details that I wanted to preserve. George Keller provided me with many options - all would allow me to stay within budget / keep the architectural details dating from 1900. I received 6-other bids for the work. None were enthusiastic about “perseveration”, several were higher, and most lacked the detail in George’s quote (leaving me to worry about overruns). As the project got started it became clear that there were many hidden structural problems that would also need to be addressed. George did a great job with documenting and explaining each as they were discovered, and his team completed all work in an exceptionally professional and timely fashion. My garage and porch were a wreck. I am confident that they have been properly repaired and they look great! I have rehabbed 3-houses, worked with dozens of general contractors, and have never have been so satisfied with the end result or the business relationship. This team is punctual, hardworking, tidy, and takes great care to respect the home and surroundings of the homeowner. I will use Keller Contracting on future projects as often as possible. more

I have nothing but good to say about Keller's Contracting. I would and have recommended them to friends. I've had a new roof put on, some pretty heavy-duty plumbing, a great deal of interior work (wallboard, painting, some electric, flooring), and all of it is solid, clean work. Before I hired Keller's Contacting, I had roofing done by one of the very well-known companies in town; the big boys not only repaired the problem poorly but also failed to alert me to some very serious issues which caused more leakage within months. I've had plumbing done by a master plumber; it also leaked. But everything George has done to my house has LASTED. If you're looking for a contractor who will do quality work, who will keep you well-informed, who understands how a house WORKS, you should call Keller's Contracting. Through all of the projects, George and his crew have never been anything short of professional and reliable, and I have to say that I'm frankly pretty puzzled by the negative review on here. I have hired other contractors in the past. I'm sticking with Keller's Contracting because the quality of the work is consistently good, because I appreciate the fact that George actually takes time to explain your options, because George cares very much about doing a job he can be proud of. more

I've written reviews about this contractor on other sites, and thought I covered all bases. Do not hire this man. He's a con man. He will take your deposit, talk you into adding more work, never complete the work, then demand payment in full. His work is well below par and he will not answer your phone calls or call you back. He will tell you a job will take a few days, tear your house apart and never finish. Do Not HireThis Man!! more
