Ethan Landry of Keller Williams Parishwide is a horrible agent to use to list your home. He put our home up for sale and forgot about us. He did not follow through on the things he said he was going to do, and he lied to us many times. He would not follow up with interested buyers, and he told very obvious lies, giving excuses for things that were in total contradiction to the previous excuses he gave. We spoke with one realtor who showed our home and told us that Ethan falsely advertised our home as being waterfront, and her client was very disappointed. She said that she spoke with Ethan about it. When we asked Ethan about the showing, he said he had not heard from the agent and went on saying how difficult it was to hear back from other realtors. Well, we knew that was a total lie. He also said that a buyer he was working with wanted our house and wanted to make us an offer as soon as they had an agreement for some neighboring land. Then we never heard from Ethan anymore about it. When we asked him what was going on, he kept saying that they were STILL negotiating for the land and that as soon as they got it, they would make us an offer. That went on for weeks. We called the landowner ourselves and found out that no one had been negotiating with him for his land. That was another total lie. There were many others. He also would not increase his advertising after months with only one showing. It seemed sadly obvious that he just did not want to do much. I think he puts all of his efforts into his buying clients since they are ready to buy a home and just need to find one. He will make money more easily with them. When it comes to his listed properties, it seems that he just wants to wait to get an offer from another realtor instead of working to advertise his homes or to follow up with interested buyers.
