I was interested over the course of 2 months to attend Keiser Carrer College, and over those 2 months my service granted was very good! -- However, that quickly changed after I decided that a non-degree seeking carrer was not for me.
When I voiced my concern about the courses, I was asked by my advisor to get in contact over the phone, to personally explain their refund policy. It took a good amount of hoop-jumping on my own behalf to obtain my full refund of my application fee, which they seemed in no hurry to return or give up without legal posturing.
The fees and charges related to the tuition of the course were high, though not outrageous for a private school, several of the "optional" fees did seem "unavoidable". I would advise anyone seeking education here to throughly read and copy the application form, and the costs related to tuition, before submitting it. I would also document your conversations with the school, without that, I would be out a tidy out of pocket sum!
I was later recommended to Keiser University, a degree-seeking school down the road related to the same school. My experience with them was similar, and I was prompted up front and singled out that, "all application fees are 100% non-refundable", before applying; though the application fee clearly states otherwise.
Though I would say remaining cautious and protected is something all students should do, Kesier Career College in my experience has been less upfront & transparent than other education centers in town.
