Keil's Place Restaurant & Bar

Good: First you walk into a fresh clean, newly painted establishment greeted by a friendly employee. Your food is cooked to order & best of all...all of the food is homemade!!! Nothing frozen, all fresh foods down to potatoes cut for your french fries. I really enjoy the family & friendly enviroment, it is a great place to come have a great relaxing dinner. I will visit Keils Bar & Grill time & time again!!. Other: I read the review "The Worst" ...I feel this person is disrespectful to say the Servers are borderline mentally challenged!! The prices are fair, I have been to Bernardi's & Planzas where you can't get a meal for under $7.50 as well. Their staple item is the Fried Chicken, but my fav is the French Dip..delicious!! Kregg I challenge you to try Keils Bar & Grill (not Keils Place) again.. more

I can't believe they tried to open this place again. Absolute crap! Where should I start? 1. They spent countless weeks (possibly months) remodeling this place, yet it looks as dark dingy and pathetic as it always has. 2.The wait staff was boderline mentally challenged and with a total of 5 of them, yes 5, they couldn't collectivley run the dinner floor which is maybe 400 sqr feet. 3. No one bussing tables! Who the hell in their right mind runs a dinner establishment, during dinner hours, and has their wait staff bussing their own tables? 4. The menu. I'm pretty sure the menu is even smaller than before, very poor choices, and no staple items (meals I would come back for again and again). 5. Prices!!! Holy god they put the last nail in their coffin with this one. Nothing under $7.50. And thats just for the sandwhiches, anything more like sides or their crap salad bar, then it's another $2.50. At this point, I'm sorry to say that these owners just do not have good business/restaurants edicate, and I will not be going back. So sad because we have been desperately waiting for a good dinner place to come in here forever. Liked: Disliked: more

This places has a very bad selection of food and the service is horrible. My soda sat empty for 20 minutes before the waitress came and offered a refill, she then took my cup and was gone another ten minutes. The food selection is very limited and none of it is very good. I don't recommend going here. The fried chicken is okay but there are many other places in the area with better food, better prices and much better service. more
