Great food & Service - Highly recommend! 4/19/2003

We've been here on several occasions, and cannot complain about a thing. The atmosphere is great, the service & food has always been top notch! If you haven't been here, it's worth the trip. I do recommend reservations.... Pros: Location, Atmosphere, Service Cons: Not great for kids more

First date, great. 3/11/2003

I came to the Keg the first time on the recommendation of a friend for a first date. I must say I was duely impressed! The service was superb, the seperation of the dining area from the bar allowed for a more intimate setting and the food was super. They even gave us a complementary appetizer for it being a first date! I will return and highly recommend. Reservations would be a good idea on a busy night. Great Value! 12/5/2002

Wow! Very impressive. Best value in downtown as far as steakhouses go. No problem getting in on Friday night although we did wait about 35 minutes in a very comfortable bar with outstanding fun service. The prime rib was excellent, and for the price can not be beat. Great Canadian steakhouse 11/19/2002

This is a great new addition to LoDo. It blows the chophouse off the map. If you had a bad experience waiting when they had a 3 hour wait, please tell me a restaurant you had a good experience in when trying to wait three hours. I was told they don't like to take resevations, but not that they wouldn't and we made them and had an exceptional time. Pros: Quality of Steak, Great Wine, Atmosphere more

This Place Stinks! 11/14/2002

Worst dining experience in Denver. Called for a reservation, only to ber told ""we don't like to take reservations, but our dining room is very big, and even on weekends, the wait is never more than 20 minutes."" When we arrived we were told that the wait would be 3 hours, have a seat in the bar and we will call you when your table is ready. Of course, no seats in the bar, after 30 minutes we could not even attract the attention of a bartender to get a drink. I entertain at dinners regularly in Denver and I will NEVER go into the Keg again. Pros: Easy to find Cons: Rude help, Lousy service, dishonesty more

Severly Satisfied. 9/3/2002

Great new addition to LoDo. Those Canadians sure have a good franchise. One of the best Steak houses in Denver for a great price! Nothing on the menu for over $35.00! For premium steak! I had the 16 oz prime rib and side of Alaskan King Crab Legs for $27.00! Boy am I excited. The Manager gave us two complimentary Shrimp Cocktails - maybe to be nice or just buy my business- either way I'm sold. Great atmosphere as well - the bar was kicking, a great spot to start out a Friday or Saturday clubbing night. WILL GO BACK - OVER - AND - OVER - AND - OVER - AGAIN! WHAT A GEM! Seriously GO THERE! more

good steak 8/29/2002

Service good, steak was tender - not cheap but better value than some of the other steak joints in LoDo. Day time - I was in the bar area. Nice friendly service - I'll go back - beats same old same old more
