GREAT IS NOT EVEN THE WORD 4/7/2009

This is a small Dive On the Beach, But so worth the trip. We sampled quite a few things on the menu and have very few complaints. The baked Octopus with parmesean was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I highly recommend you venture out of your comfort zone and order this spectacular treat. The conch fritters were good not great but good the calamari was great and the crab soup was creamy rich and delicious. The blackened grouper sandwich was not that impressive it was fair at best. The trip was so worth it for the baked octopus it was amazing not chewy or rubbery melts in your mouth phenomenal. The service was sub standard and the waitress was rude. I will return again to give them the benefit of the doubt for the service . The food is great and affordable. This dive is a best kept secret on indian rocks beach. I gave it a 4 because of the service. Pros: AWESOME FOOD Cons: Waitress and service was 3rd class more

So DDD had it wrong on this one. This place is SO small, We walked in and were welcomed to sit at the ""bar"" (acounter that fits 5 on a good night) or just mill around until a table opens. Pros: I'm trying....... Cons: Bad serivce, bland food more

Great Food 8/23/2008

Went to Keegan's because I saw it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on FoodTV. Looked interesting on TV. Food was very good. Tried a couple apps and a couple entrees between 3 people. Everyone agreed it was tasty. The grilled octopus was very good. Worth the drive. Pros: Good variety of foods Cons: Driving distance more

You wont be disappointed by a visit to Keegan's. Locally owned and operated, the prices are quite reasonable, and full of locals, not just one-time tourist visits. Menu options are creative, and offer much to everyone's palate. It is casual and comfortable and family friendly. more
