I purchased a motor cycle from Burbank Kawasaki this month. When I walked in after talking to the sales man over the phone, I probably asked him 2 times over the phone and another 2 times after we made the deal that it was 0 down and 0 financing for 4 years(he said yes every single time I asked. We did all the paper work and I was very happy that I finally got my ZX10R. The sales man who ran my credit came back and said you are approved and handed me a receipt with a Vin number on it stating I purchased that Vin number for that particular ZX10R.He handed me a sales contract for me to sign and I did not notice the area that the Vin number was supposed to be Blank. The sales man told me the bike will be available tomorrow and I could come and pick it up. Well, tomorrow came and he said sorry the bike will not be here until Monday (I purchased it on Thursday) I said ok I can wait. I received the call that the bike was ready and I sent one of my employees to pick up the bike because I was busy that day. The bike was picked up and in my garage. Towards the end of the month when I received a limited warranty card, I looked at the VIN number and it did not match the Vin Number that I signed for when my Financing was approved. I started looking deeper and deeper into my paperwork to realize that the first purchase contract did not have a Vin number on it and the purchase contract that they had my employee sign that had my name on it not his had the new Vin Number. To add Heartache to Missouri when I received my first bill it said they are charging me 3.95% interest for the life of the loan. At this point I lost my mind.\r
I called Burbank Kawasaki and talked to the sales man that sold me the bike and said what had happened regarding the interest charge, he basically stated you signed for it. At that point I returned to the dealer ship to confront the salesman that made the deal and asked him about what was the deal with the having my employee sign my purchase contract that had my name on it. I also started saying that the VIN number that I signed for I did not receive and this sounds like a bait and switch. It seems to me that this dealership sold a Motorcycle that they did not own and used a Vin number to make the sale to receive the funds and go and purchase the motorcycle that they gave to me that had a different Vin number on it. I informed the sales man that I want to Unwind on the motorcycle and I will drop it off in the afternoon and he stated I can’t. I basically told him that I will leave my number and have the owner of this honest dealer ship to call me.\r
When I got in my truck and was about to drive off, this said sales man ran out to my truck and said I can have the interest charge removed if you like and I basically stated NO you defrauded me from the beginning and have the owner call me. The owner never called me that day.\r
I went back to the dealer ship in the afternoon to be greeted by the manager who said if you leave that motorcycle here we will leave it on the sidewalk. I started to explain the entire story to him now and he tells me he has a recording of me when the deal was made that I gave my employee permission to sign for me. I told him that what he did was against the law without informing me but if you do have a recording let’s hear it because you will hear your salesman telling me 0 Down 0 interest for 48 months. He did not like that answer. Finally a man walked out from behind a door that looked like the man in all the pictures on the walls so I asked if he was the owner, with no answer. I showed him all the paper work and his answer was that his sales man made a mistake. I said he sure did “ITS CALLED FRAUD”. He basically said there is nothing he can do and do whatever I need to do.\r
