Can't say enough good things about Kavan's. Food is great(especially the Burgers & onion rings. Service is wonderful. Lots of friendly faces. Good value for your money. more

Great gathering place to have some drinks, but the food isn't the greatest. Pricey for the kind of food it is. This is our first choice to have a beer and watch a game, though - and the staff is very friendly. more

Overcooked and bland 5/12/2008

Went there on Mother's Day with a party of eight, there were 7 burgers ordered and not 1 was cooked proper all were over done.To top it off my mother's ANGUS burger had a bone chip in it which she bite down on. The place wasn't that busy the should be able to cook a burger medium not cooked to death. Also if you like brown water I'd recommend the french onion soup, the presentation was pretty with the no taste cheese melted on top, but there was nothing to it. Please try seasoning you food and get a cook who doesn't precook/rewarm you meat patty's. more

If you are looking for a good local burger 4/23/2008

I am a huge fan of red coat tavern's burger but I can't always make the drive. If you are looking for a good burger in the Warren area Kavans is it. The Bleu burger is one of my favorites. There are many different options and toppings to choose from. more

Enjoyable Atmosphere! 2/8/2007

I'm quite fond of Kavans! They are located right across the street from Macomb County Community College so there are a lot of younger faces in the crowd. I really love their appetizers, especially the taco salad. You can get full just by ordering this. more

Newly Remodeled 10/12/2004

Kavans has finally gotten a face lift! Same great inexpensive food but with more choices. The interior looks brand spankin new, so everything is super clean! Daily drink specials and happy hours are a plus! New Martini night also. U gotta come see for yourself. Pros: Updated/CLean , Happy Hour specials, New /Menu Items more
