The sandwiches are almost as generous as you'd find in Manhattan, all the classics are there, from chopped liver to Monte Cristo. The sides are fabulous, some of the best pasta salads I've had in awhile. My NY hubby felt right at home.
It is always packed on the weekends and at lunch, but we've been there on off-hours and its been great. Parking is bad, you have to park up the block and hoof it.
A great German Village tradition, its worth a trip...especially for homesick New Yorkers!
