Kat'z Lair Day Spa & Salon

I've been going to Kathy for more than 10 years. At first I told her exactly what I wanted for color and cut and that's just what I got. In the past couple of years I "let her go" and Kathy did some wonderful things for my color and style that took years off my appearance and drew compliments from my friends. I've referred some of my friends there and they too are happy with the service, styling and price. YOU WILL BE TOO! more

I love the atmosphere at Kathy's. She cuts and colors my hair, and I love the compliments I get afterwards:-) She does a great job, and her salon has such a fun relaxing atmoshere, I always leave refreshed! more

Kathy has been doing my hair for over 10 years. I have NEVER been unhappy with my hair when she does it. She really listens to what you want and then does it and dose it better than you could dream! Good: Kathy's top priority is her client base. She is the only person who has touched my hair in 20 years! I can't imagine trusting my styling needs to anyone else! I have had Kathy Lange cut and perm my hair for about 20 years. She has always worked with my schedule, even on Sundays and nights. I had to go back one time for a re-perm and it didn't cost me a dime. She is on the cutting edge of hair styling and continues her education by going to conventions and style shows, learning new styles, cuts and procedures. The only business card I carry in my purse to give out to people!! I suppose I should Carry mu husbands too :) I've been going to Kathy for years and years and am always mad when I go somewhere else. When my two young boys need haircuts (age 3 and 1) they go to her too! Prices are reasonable and my 3 year old knows he gets to pick a prize or candy after the cut, he loves it! The 1 year old is hard to get to sit still but she is amazing (and his hair grows much quicker than his brothers, he's had 3 cuts already). LOVE IT!!!!! more

I love the friendly atmosphere at Kat'z. I almost always get my hair cut and colored there. I think Kathy does a great job, and enjoy the compliments I receive on her styles. more

I have been going to Kathy at this salon for several years now. I feel they are alway more than willing to accomadate whatever I need. My sister got me started going there and Kathy has bent over backwards to take care of us whenever it fits our schedule, not necessarially hers. She comes in on her days off or before or after hours. I have awful frizzy curly gray hair. Kathy makes my hair shiny silky and a beautiful deep brown. It doesn't fade and turn coppery red in the sun. It styles perfectly and I love my hair after 45 years of hating it. Thank you Kathy you are my hero. From Theresa Boyd. more

I have been having Kathy Lange do my hair including cuts, color and extentions for more than 2 years, if I ever have a concerned it is always taken care of immediatly and and no additional charge to me. The rates I pay are very fair for the area. The shop is clean and up and coming. I haven't had alot of services done by the other stylists there. Kathy has gone above and beyond to accomadate me on her days off and before and after hours. I would recommend her to any of my friends. DSidener more

I have gotten polite and courteous customer service before and this isnt it. I would take my money elsewhere. I would categroies katz far below cost cutters and great clips my hair cut was awful and the attitude was far worst! bad experienceand bad people very amateur and weak in skills just my honest opinion. more

Having considerable experience with Kat'z Day Spa and Salon, I have decided to write it's first review for the Internet. I have been going to the Salon for various services and puroses for almost two years now. The owner and head stylist is Kathy Lange, a wonderful, friendly person who happens to be a hair design genius. She has styled my hair in over 100 styles that all had appeal to others and considerably enhanced my appearance. More than just a number of years of experience rest in her skillful hands as a stylist. There are three other main stylists; Michelle, Mary, and Dehlia, all talented in their cosmetological skills. I have had my hair cut and dyed by all of these stylists and had absolutely no qualms with any of the results. The Salon is also staffed with several nail technicians, whom were hired based on their extensive experience and long-developed clientele. An esthitician is also on employ at the Salon; I've frequently had my eyebrows waxed with her and the usual pain associated with the waxing was practically non-existent. Finally, the Salon offers pedicures and Cinderella Hair System Hair extensions. I have never had these services, but have watched them performed from beginning to end; the clients involved were very pleased with their results. In all, Kat'z Lair Day Spa and Salon is a place buzzing with business, quick wit, congeniality, and most of all, a tremendous amount of clientele. The people of Grand Junction come in, fraternize socially with the Salon staff, and leave with hair done so well that it could only have been done at Kat'z.
