THE FOOD: the whole time we were there we only ordered different sushi rolls. The food didnt taste bad but i bet i can find better tasting sushi around glendale for cheaper. Nothing on the menu impressed me. While regular sushi rolls were $6-7 per roll. their specials (such as rainbow roll) went for $15-17. There is a squid sashimi on the menu that would have tasted better if it wasnt for the hidden mint leaf at the bottom that made me gag. Vegetable rolls were good and so was salmon skin, but then again, how can you go wrong with these................... THE SERVICE: the day we went there, it was not packed at all. Actually the place was so empty that they closed the outdoor area on the ground floor. There were probably 3-4 people at the sushi bar inside and we sat outside on the balcony on the second floor, which was somewhat full but it is a very small, congested area. Although the place was not busy at all, we had to wait for our waiter for 20-30 minutes each time we wanted to order additional items, or drink refills. Although i understand the beauty of leisurly dining, spending 3.5 hours dining with my boyfriend on a regular day is too much.
