I have been to Katsu-Ya many times, I love the sushi there. I could eat it every day. I hate going there on Fri, Sat or Sunday night, its to cramped and crowded and loud. The wait staff is always really nice and attentive, and the place always looks clean even for how packed and small it is. more

Great 8/4/2005

I like this better than the Studio City location -- more room, less people, food tastes fresher. Downside is you probably wont see as many celebs or "important" people here -- boo hoo. The food is what's happening here, a little pricey but interesting takes on traditional dishes. Tasty. more

This place is amazing. When you sit down, your server will put a board on an easel in front of you with the daily specials on it. Make sure you order at least one thing from that menu. This is what you go to Katsuya for. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Baked crab roll and spicy tuna on crispy rice are out of this world. You really can't go wrong here. Go and enjoy! more
