One of the employees is just plain rude. She complained about children in the store and was rude to a disabled friend of mine. While she has an amazing memory for the kind of yarn I like, I'd never shop there again. more

Retail Yarn and Knitting 12/28/2005

I stepped in this store by accident and was very happy to see a yarn store in Hillsboro. Wool is hard to find with most major craft and fabric stores carrying just a few choices. Kathy's has more than anyone in the Hillsboro area and Portland is the closest supply of wool I am aware of. I spoke with a customer who swears by the service there and it seemed very friendly to me. They have gift certificates as well. more
