I would not rec. anyone living at Kathryn Place. There is a list that could go for days about how horrible it was and I only lived there 3 months. My dishwasher went out and it took 6 weeks to get one in.. the new dishwasher sat in the office for 3 of those weeks.. LAZY maintenance. Emergency maintenance??..psh more like I had to go over to the office about 4 times during the day and he still never came. When I decided to move out, they filed an eviction.. no big deal. By law you have until AT LEAST your court date to remove your things. I was in the process and had almost everything out when I came back one day and they CHANGED MY LOCKS. um, no. Can you say law suit? The rental office lady came over to my house one day and was TWO inches from my face complaining about ONE bag of trash on my porch since I was cleaning and aparently failed to notice the person across from me with a grocery cart on their porch.. Which is more unattractive. These apartments are old, not taken care of, and the people who run them are a joke. If you want to overpay for rent, not get anything taken care of that needs fixed, and be unhappy for at least 12 months then Kathryns Place is perfect for you.. oh, and you pay gas, electric AND WATER.. she seems to fail to mention the water when you come. I had to ask. Bottom line, this place is a JOKE!!! more

Management SUCKS, and maintenance SUCKS even worse. They came in and tore up my half bath downstairs, had the kitchen completely blocked off so I couldn't get in to get bottles for my infant, they didn't want to pay for a hotel for a day for me even though I had just ran my infant to the emergency room the night before with upper resp infection. Then they left my apartment in total disarray mud was everywhere; all over the walls and floor, and the management said they weren't going to clean it, Ontop of that all the old concrete and tile they took out of the bathroom they just dumped over the hillside in the back and STILL have yet to clean up. Took them 5 months to replace my thermostat and when they did, they tour paint off of the wall to do so and still havent repainted and the new one STILL does not work. My half bath floor is totally uneven and the sink has the side molding hanging over and they still haven't fixed that. My kitchen floor they replaced 3 pieces of tile and put down a completely different pattern so my kitchen floor doesn't match. My dishwasher has never worked and I have been living here for 7 months now and they still have yet to fix it. The leasing agent has NO IDEA as to what she's doing, and the manager....wow she has NO SOCIAL SKILLS and could care less about her tenants. They still have yet to replace the screens in my windows, they are bent at the bottom so everytime we open a window bugs and spiders get in so we had to DUCT TAPE the bottoms to keep bugs out. There had been a massive leak in the apartment building that had been there for 13 months so when they were looking for where it was they kept turning peoples water off WITHOUT ANY WARNING! And emergency maintenance pretty much does not exist, we had water coming from our tub upstairs down into the dining room from the ceiling and I had to page emergency maintenance 4 DIFFERENT TIMES before anyone called back within a 4 hour time span and they said ""Oh well we will put in a work order...."" guy sounded drunk on the phone. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HELL HOLE IT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE!!!!! more
