Attention brides, you ever need a GREAT seamstress Kathi is the one. She knows what she is doing and any advice that you need she will give it. I went to visit her and come to find out that when I purchased my wedding dress they did not sell me the right slip. So using the slip that I had with the dress was making it look funny and to big in certain area's. So Kathi informed my about the type of slip I needed we tried one on and it made the dress come out wonderful. So I ended up not having to have nothing hemmed on my dress. So I ended up calling the place I bought my dress from and they will exchange it so now I will look perfect. But I would not have known this what so ever. So thank you soooooo much Kathi you are wonderful and very sweet and I would recommend anyone to come to you. more

I used Kathi to alter my wedding dress based on recommendations from other brides. I also learned that she did all of Miss America - Katie Harmon's pagent alterations. I figured if she was good enough for Miss America, she just might be good enough to work on my wedding gown. I had walked out of the dress shop feeling like I was being cheated since the seamstress was suggesting alterations that I felt I didn't need, nearly doubling the cost of my dress. When I took the dress to Kathi and pointed out areas of the dress that didn't fit properly, she did simple little tricks to change the fit of the dress that ended up costing me nothing. The alterations that did need to be done were completely quickly and beautifully. An added bonus is that Kathi is one of the sweetest, most personable people to work with. She genuinely cares about making each bride she works with feel beautiful in their gown. It is so refreshing to deal with a wedding vendor that is honest and helpful instead of upping the price because the word "wedding" is mentioned. Even if Gresham is a bit of a drive, she is worth the drive for all the money saved and attention to detail.
